Signs that the earth is feeling the impact of our actions as humans are showing more more and more each day. Things like natural disasters and animals extinctions are just a small part of the problem. We can all play a role in helping the environment by going greens with a least a handful of things.
Tips for going green
DITCH THE PAPER TRAIL
Opt out of junkmail and go paperless with bills and bank statements whenever possible.
Cleanse your household environment by switching to non-toxic cleaning products, or making your own.
Replace incandecent light bulbs with new LED or CFL bulbs.
EAT FOR CHANGE
Eat less meat or ditch it all together. The meat industry produces loads of air pollutants.
Reusable towels vs. paper towels. Use cloth napkins in place of disposable to reduce your foot print.
DITCH THE PLASTIC BAGS
One of the easiest ways to go green is by taking your own reusable shopping bags to the supermarket when you go grocery shopping. If you forget your reusable bags, opt for paper bags instead of plastic.
REPLACE PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES
Get a water filter and a stainless steel water bottle and use that instead of plastic bottles. This will save your pocket and the environment.
