What beans can I use for this recipe?
For this recipe I have used red kidney beans, but you can use any bean of your preference. You can use butter beans, white northern beans, black beans, chickpeas, or anything in between. This recipe calls for canned beans because that is the fastest way to make this recipe.
Can I freeze this?
You can definitely make a big batch of these beans and freeze them for even faster weeknight dinner meals. Cook these up and allow them to cool. Place the beans into a air tight freezer safe container, or containers for easy thawing and serving sizing.
