Vegan Jalapeno Poppers
I love jalapenos poppers, so of course I had to come up with a vegan version. After a few failed attempts, I was able to successfully come up with these delicious poppers that anyone can enjoy! Hope you like these as much as I do, because no one will know these are vegan.
Ingredients Jalapenos 1 package Non-dairy cream cheese (softened) 1 cup Vegan shredded cheddar cheese 3 garlic clove, minced 1/2 smoked paprika 1/4 cup chopped cilantro 1 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp apple cider vinager Salt & Pepper to taste
Breading 2/3 Ratio (2) vegan parmasean cheese (cashew, nutritional yeast, and garlic powder, ground) (3) plain bread crumbs
Instructions Pre heat oven 400F
Cut jalapeno peppers in half long ways and remove seeds.
In a medium mixing bowl, add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic, paprika and mix well together. Once mixed well add salt and pepper to taste.
Mix breading together.
Scoop filling into peppers, lightly press filled side into breading and place in the oven for 20 minutes, on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Lightly spray oil onto jalapenos and place back into the oven for an additional 5 minutes to brown lightly.
Remove from oven and let cool a bit and all that is left to do now is ENJOY!
