Easy Vegan Brown Gravy | Vegan Thanksgiving
This is my favorite gravy recipe to whip up super fast. It's so tasteful that no one will ever imagine that it only took you about 5 minutes to whip up. This goes perfect with mashed potatoes and asparagus (my family's fav), and with roasts of all kinds.
Instructions 3 tbsp flour 3 tbsp butter 2 cup veg broth 3 tbsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp dried sage 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions In a small sauce pan, make a rue by add the butter and flour and cooking on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes or until the flour becomes blonde in color.
Whisk in the vegetable broth, slowly so that the mix doesn't clump up.
Add in the soy sauce, salt and pepper at this time.
Mix well and serve over you favorite dish.
