Vegan Boxed Stuffing Hack
For as long as I can remember my family has been making this hack for stuffing every thanksgiving. Of course, back then we made it using ground turkey but now that I am vegan this is a vegan version using beefless grounds. This recipe is delicious and so simply made. Why eat plain boxed or bagged stuffing when you can make something just as easy and fast, that taste delicious.
Serves Approx. 6
Ingredients 8oz store bought dry stuffing, vegan friendly 9oz frozen beefless grounds, or 1/2 package of Gardien Beefless Grounds 1/2 red onion, chopped 1/4 red bell pepper, chopped 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp sazon powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp black pepper 2 tbsp oil, for sauteing
Instructions Rehydrate the packaged stuffing according to the package instructions and set aside in a large mixing bowl.
In a skillet over medium high heat, add in the oil and incorporate the onion and bell pepper and cook until translucent.
Make a well in the center of the veggies and add in the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until they become fragrant. Mix together.
Stir in beefless grounds and cook until heated through or however long your packaging suggest. Add beefless grounds mix into the cooked stuffing and mix everything together and enjoy and delicious bite!
