Garlic Bechamel Pizza Sauce


Ingredients 2 tbsp non dairy butter 2 tbsp all purpose flour 1 1/2 cup unsweetend almond milk 3 garlic cloves, minced or grated 2 tbsp nutritional yeast 1/4 tsp ground black pepper 1/4 tsp salt or to taste

Instructions In a medium sauce pan on medium high heat, add in the butter and stir until melted. Add in the flour and stir into the butter.

At this point the mix will look clumpy, and that is completely normal. Cook for 1 minute, than add in garlic and cook for 30 seconds or just until the garlic becomes fragrant. Slowly whisk in milk. Being careful to whisk in a little at a time and continue to whisk to prevent any clumping.

Once the bechemel sauce is whisked smooth, add in the nutritional yeast, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add to you favorite pizza crust and ENJOY!
