Easy Marinara Sauce

Ingredients 2 28oz can crushed tomatoes 1/2 onion, chopped small 4 garlic cloves, minced 2 tbsp onion powder 2 tbsp garlic powder 1 bay leaf 1 tsp oregano 1 pinch red pepper flakes 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions In a large pot, add in oil, and chopped onion. Cook on medium high heat until the onion becomes translucent.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes or until the garlic becomes fragrant.

Add in the crushed tomatoes and the rest of the ingredients and salt and pepper to taste.

Stir and cook on medium high heat for 20 minutes, covered.

Mix occasionally to prevent sticking to the pot.

Cook for longer if richer, thicker sauce is desired.

Serve along side pasta or anything you like and ENJOY!

Tip: For a extra delicious sauce add small cubes of eggplant with the crushed tomatoes and cook until soft.
