Vegan Mac and Cheese Balls

Phenomenal vegan Mac and cheese goodness! I don’t know if words can express how good these are but I will try! These are soft and cheesy on the inside and crunchy and crispy on the outside.

I’m writing this blog post for this recipe years after coming up with this recipe so I don’t really remember what inspired me to make them. All I know is years later and I still make them all the time and I love them just as much as the day we met, I mean since the day I created them! 😁

Spicy Mac and Cheese Balls

Why You’ll Love These Vegan Mac and Cheese Balls

1. Crowd Pleaser These delicious Mac and cheese balls are a smash hit at parties and gatherings. I’ve made these for multiple family gatherings and every time they sort of vanish, right after I put the out. Ps, non of my family is vegan.

2. Delicious You can make these spicy or non spicy but either way these are so delicious. These have all the amazing qualities of Mac and cheese. Creamy, cheesy, goodness!

3. Hand Held The reason these are so good for parties is because you don’t need a fork or spoon to eat them. Also, perfect for kids because of the same reason.

How To Make These Mac and Cheese Balls

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl add in all mac and cheese ingredients and mix until everything is completely combined. Add mixture into a grease 8-9 inch pan ( I used a pie dish) and place in oven for 20 minutes, uncovered.

Step 2: Remove from oven, mix around with a spoon and allow to cool down for a few minutes before handling.Mix the flour and water together to create the egg replacer.

Step 3: Form the mac and cheese into golf ball size balls, in your hands and dip into the egg replacer mix. Roll mac and cheese balls into the bread crumbs. Continue until all done.

Step 4: Deep fry these three at a time in a deep fryer or a large pot full of oil. To test oil carefully drop in one macaroni and when it float the oil is hot enough. Deep fry for about 1-2 minutes or until the become golden brown. Continue with all the balls until all are cooked.

Serve: You can eat these plain, or with some sriracha sauce to take it over the top. All that is left to
do now is ENJOY!
