Vegan Nacho Cheese
Creamy cheesy deliciousness, that is what you get with this recipe. This vegan nacho cheese is so fantastic and you can added to pretty much anything. Cheese tends to be a huge deal when someone is contemplating going vegan. I was one of those people who would say “I love cheese too much, I could never go vegan”. But delicious recipes like this vegan nacho cheese makes it so much easier.
I decided to come up with this recipe because I had seen lots of options for vegan Nacho cheese already and had even tried a few of those. But I was never too satisfied, because many of those recipes that I found and tried contained carrots And I don’t know about you but I don’t think of carrots when I think of delicious creamy cheese, do you? I totally understand why people do it it gives it an orangey look and I guess it gives it some kind of flavor but at the end of the day most of those carrots and potato-based vegan cheese sauces are just not actually cheesy. They may look cheesy but they don’t really taste like cheese and that can be a little deceiving and a little disappointing. That’s why I made this recipe, you won’t find any potatoes or any carrots in here.
For my version of vegan nacho cheese, are use Daiya cheese. You can use any plant-based cheese which you prefer as long as it melts. The you use has to melt in order to become a sauce. All you need to do to make this is add some plant-based milk to a pot, add some plant-based cheese, preferably yellow cheese. Then you add some sprinkling of seasoning salt and pepper to taste and mix it all up until it becomes nice and creamy.
Another really cool thing about this recipe is that you can easily customize it. You can add some chopped up jalapeños, you can also toss in some chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and by that I mean the can. Or you can think completely outside the box and come up with something completely different. This is such a simple way to make vegan cheese and it’s also very delicious.
